One EMS: Summer Patterson and Perspective

In 2018 Summer Patterson, started at Bryan County as the Deputy Chief of EMA and Division Chief of EMS. Chief Patterson started as a Paramedic FTO at MedStar in 2003 and became a supervisor at Coastal EMS in 2010. She attended Savannah State University to study Homeland Security and graduated from the American Military University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2020 majoring in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management. Since 2003, Chief Patterson worked as an EMT Instructor at Rescue Training and Savannah Technical College.
