The Voice of EMS: Susan Dasher and the Perspective of Civilians.

Updated: Dec 17, 2021

"The only stupid question is the one not asked and people are not asking."

Born in Savannah, Susan Dasher worked for over 20 years in the medical field before moving into the EMS in Bryan County. She is the Administrative Assistant to Chiefs assisting in the daily operations of the Emergency Services. Her job requires her to be a jill-of-all-trades and indicative of multi-faceted jobs in EMS.

Dasher handles billing, payments, discrepancy, records request, and copies of PCR. She also onboards new hires and manages the supply inventory of the ten Bryan County Fire stations as well as uniforms for all personnel. Whatever is needed, Dasher is there to assist in the daily operations.

When she is not working at Bryan County Emergency Services, Dasher loves traveling to off-the-beaten-path destinations and working in her garden. Family is central to her life, and that includes her work family as well.
